This is a permissible extension, and hence should not be in a conformance testsuite.

Thanks for reporting this Geoffrey. 'x' used as a flag should result in a SyntaxError => it is indeed a permissible extension via Chapter 16. Just disabled the test in source control, and now re-assigning to Mark to address (e.g., move to a "Sputnik\Negative\*" directory?).
