The NumberFormat section contains a table "Numbering systems with simple digit mappings", which is extracted from CLDR data. It would be better to replace the table and references to it with a generic description of such numbering systems and their digits. Right now this isn't possible because there is no stable standard naming scheme for numbering systems:

Once the CLDR bug has been adequately addressed, the NumberFormat section should be updated.

CLDR ticket 4177 was addressed in a way that doesn't fully meet our needs. I filed a new ticket:
