In 6.1.7.2 "Object Internal Methods and Internal Slots",
it seems to me that there's a need for a paragraph something like this:
When an internal method is invoked, the algorithm is provided with an
object referred to as "the object that the internal method is called upon"
or also "the target of the invocation". When a specification uses wording
such as "invoke object X's [[Foo]] internal method", it means to invoke that
method, providing X as the object that the internal method is called upon.

(Personally, I prefer "the target of the invocation". It's shorter, more concrete, more searchable, and doesn't end in a preposition.)
